Hello! I'm new here. I've decided to join LJ in an attempt to thwart my post-NPL con melancholy, and I'd like to be your friend :)

Speaking of the NPL Convention- it was, once again, utterly delightful. A few of my favorite moments:

• Detours on the drive up Trail Ridge Road at Rocky Mountain National Park.  (Sax stopped so I could play in the snow!) The park, weather,  and company were all fantastic.
• Tablesaw's Remote Control.  What a cool game! I had never seen the original MTV show, so I had no idea what to expect going into it. Tablesaw's audio questions were especially awesome.
• "Co-solving" cryptics with Momus and Jigsaw.  I have a long way to go before I can remove the quotation marks from "co-solving", but nevertheless, both of these guys were incredibly helpful and patient.
• Several terrific Jeopardy! and Trash games.
  
• Spelvin's Hog the Glory (did terribly, had a blast) and Sprout's pub trivia (did slightly better, had a blast).
• Hanging out with all the wonderful people in the NPL.  As a relative newcomer, I am always astounded by the warm welcome Bonus and I receive every year.  I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the NPL.
